This agreement and accompanying deposit shall confirm the Buyer’s reservation of a Registered Canadian Horse, available at weaning, from Camelot Canadians. The total purchase price of the foal shall be $5000 CAD (plus applicable taxes). A $1000.00 deposit is required to hold this reservation and shall be applied towards the total purchase price of the weanling.
Upon receipt of this agreement and an accompanying deposit, the Breeder shall accept and make a reservation for the specific weanling(s) that the Buyer has specified. The Buyer acknowledges that the reservation may be cancelled by either party at any time before a foal’s birth and a full refund of the deposit will be given. The Breeder will also refund the deposit in full if they are unable to provide the weanling that has been requested or if there are Veterinarian confirmed health issues that the Buyer is uncomfortable with. However, if the appropriate weanling is available for the Purchaser, no refund will be given under any circumstances after the birth of the foal or upon a failure to adhere to the terms of this agreement.
Under the terms of this agreement, the balance owing on the weanling must all be returned to the Breeder approximately 30 days prior to pickup, and no later than when the foal has reached 5 months of age. To ensure that each weanling has a fully committed home waiting for it, a reservation will not be held beyond 5 months of age for anyone who is unable to meet this timeframe. Failure to comply with this requirement will be considered cancellation of this reservation and a subsequent forfeiture of the deposit.
The Breeder will transfer physical ownership and responsibility for the weanling to the Buyer on the agreed pickup/shipping date. Transfer of CLRC registration shall occur within 90 days of the sale. The weanling’s estimated pickup/shipping date shall be on or before the six-month birthday; please ensure that you schedule a specific pickup/shipping date at your earliest convenience. In special situations, the Breeder may provide additional board for up to 30 days after the scheduled pickup/shipping date for the Purchaser at no charge.
